Union Pacific Streamliner Collection continued
We travel across the UP system to view streamliners and domeliners in dozens of locations.
The eastbound City of St. Louis rounds Sullivan's Curve in California's famed Cajon Pass.
The City of Portland passes through scenic territory east of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.
These twin tunnels and bridges are located on UP's double-track mainline in Utah.
A flag is placed on the locomotive for the last eastbound departure of the City of Los Angeles on April 30, 1971.
With Amtrak taking over nationwide passenger service, the arrival of Train #103 in Los Angeles on May 2, 1971 brings to a close the UP streamliner era.
