Cab Ride
Climb aboard an Amtrak Turbo Train for a high-speed ride along the Hudson Division. Amtrak uses these jet-powered, sleek-styled speedsters between Albany/Rensselaer and New York's Penn Station. The ride is as smooth as it is fast, and the scenery along the way is spectacular.

The trip along the Hudson is one of America's best train rides. The ever-present river offers lovely vistas throughout the entire route, and classic old station, bridges, and tunnels dot the scenic landscape.

You'll see Conrail freights flash past, and meet other Amtrak trains on their northbound journeys. Once in Metro North territory, you'll see Metro trains - classic FL-9's and MU cars - busily rushing New York commuters off to the City.

Nearing New York City, the line diverges onto Amtrak's new Westside track to Penn Station. We cross over the bridge at Spuyten Duyvil, run through Harlem, and pass through the over-built to pop out at Penn Station. Snaking down through a new tunnel to the station's platforms, we conclude our exciting and scenic ride along the Hudson Division on Amtrak's Turbo Trains.
