CSX Cumberland Division

This two volume set, now on one DVD, gives us a great look at the complex CSX operations centered around Cumberland, Maryland. The Cumberland Division is a hot bed of action as four CSX subdivisions meet at Cumberland: the Keystone Sub to Pennsylvania, the Cumberland West Sub (The former B&O Mountain Sub) to West Virginia, the Cumberland East Sub to Baltimore and the Cumberland Terminal Sub.

This is storied B&O territory and we will see some great action in many locations, including Cumberland Terminal, North Branch, The Narrows and Locust Grove.

Midwest Video Productions was most active in the mid-to-late 1990s when mergers were happening and flags were falling at a fast clip. This video was shot using professional equipment of the time, but is not up to the clarity of today's high-definition video. It is however an excellent snapshot of an important time in the nation's railroad history.
