Union Pacific's Villa Grove Sub runs from the big city of Chicago to the small town of Villa Grove. It is a busy double-track main, jointly owned by CSX and UP. This North-South line crosses many of the busy East-West mainlines in the Chicago area. We’ll see Canadian National, Indiana Harbor Belt and Norfolk Southern, all crossing at grade.
