Product Description
In early 2006, the Providence & Worcester Railroad, already an innovator in the Northeast, was contracted to move imported coal from the Port of Providence, Rhode Island to a power plant just west of Binghamton, New York. The route the coal trains would take, involved 4 railroads by the time they reached Binghamton. The exciting news for area Railfan’s is that the trains would keep the P&W power for the trip! This program documents 5 of the 7 trains as they operated on CP Rails ex Delaware & Hudson line from Delanson to just north of Binghamton. We also show the other CP trains that ran on these days!
