The SF & SP were counting their chickens before they hatched with the “Kodachrome” merger paint scheme.This program features huge intermodals on the Santa Fe, the tank trains (“oil cans”) on the Southern Pacific, and even a loaded coal train with 2 sets of helpers climbing the loop! The loop itself is covered from many locations. Also see action from Caliente to Mojave, and brief visits to the Barstow, California classification yard, and Cajon Pass.
