We spotted an array of motive power at railfan hotspots, such as the 18th Street overpass in downtown Chicago, Blue Island and Dolton Junction. Several historic towers create a nostalgic look to 21st Century operations and we captured many of them for your enjoyment. The CB&Q racetrack, known for its long scenic stretches of straight rail, also provided plenty of action. In Northwest Indiana, we got great shots in Wayne, La Porte, Ogden Dunes, Chesteron, Willow Creek Junction and more.
